Vivek Malhotra is a proven leader with more than 17 years of senior leadership and technical experience in providing IT services to both government and private sector customers. He possesses a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit combined with a deep passion for both technology and business. His skill set ranges from executive management, software development, to sales and marketing. Vivek was the founder of VMD Systems Integrators, Inc. (now VMD Corp.), an IT Services firm serving the federal sector. Vivek was instrumental in VMD’s growth to over 400 employees and $50M+ in revenue. Vivek was responsible for driving VMD’s strategic growth by positioning the company’s expertise within markets that needed its capabilities, identifying customers it could best support, and winning contract awards to provide its services.
Vivek holds a master’s degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering from Washington University and computer science from Knox College.
